I am knew to photography and have been given a 300mm zoom, 500mm fixed telephoto and a 2x tele converter. All are Tamron and came off a Contax film cam circa 1980 (maybe bit before). My question is, can I use these on any digital SLR body?
    Many thanks.

Can you post pictures of the lenses? Can you tell if they are adaptall mount lenses? You can do a search on google -> images for adaptall to see what they look like.

If adaptall, you can get the appropriate adaptall adapter for either Nikon or Pentax DSLRs but you will have to work exposure and focus manually. Canon is a bit more tricky as the present EOS/EF mount doesn't support the older FD mounts.
