I've used it on a friends camera. It's not the best obviously, but for the price, it's a good lens.

I really like the IQ of my 50 1.4 I use it quite often on 5DII and even on my other bodies. Is it built like an "L"....no, and to me that is its only real downfall. Call it snobism, call it an afinity for finer things, call it what ever.....I just like my equipment to feel rock solid and stable. But when it comes down to capturing a great image, it does just fine.

50 1.4 is a smoking lens man. The 50 1.2 I sold a few months ago as I really couldn't tell the significant difference in proportion to the price. I was warned but I sold out to the marketing scheme and bought it anyways. As far as I'm concern the 50 1.4 IQ is L category.

very well, it's a good match up for the body. I also like lacing my camera up with the 70-200mm f/2.8L shoots silky smooth.
