Nope, not kidding.
The Luminous Landscape guy is a really good photog! What about those of us who compensate by buying expensive sh!t?
we keep things like this hidden away
quick rickroll the link before others find out!
next he will be shooting eagles and songbirds in the wild with a nifty 50 and getting just as good as an 800mm
Well, I did pick up a G10 last weekend and shot it at a bar that night. I must say it is a relief to use in those tight quarters over my 40D. Quality wise, it is on par with what I can produce with my 40D in similar situations. The DOF is not as shallow. Maybe a tad grainier at ISO 400 100% crop, but than we are comparing a CMOS to CCD sensor. Macro on the G10 is very impressive. I was waiting on a compact P&S that can attain excellent image quality. Held out on the G9, Leica and Panasonics LX3; but am more than satisfied with the G10. Wish Canon would have given more ISO presets though.
