lol.i have this problem with one of my cameras without taking the roll out. Inside the glass is so cruddy with the numbers you can barely see it. Plus they didn't put a number for each shot anyway (seventies). Since it is all manual and i didnt know where it was at i destroyed a roll a couple weeks ago. Just kept ratcheting it forward, not paying attention. Looked in the window and coudnt tell what it was on anyway. When i ended up removing the film realizing it was too easy to ratchet i had pieces of it torn up inside.I like to switch among rolls of film, depending on the environment where I'm shooting. I rewind them and when I want to use it again, fire off however many shots I've used with the lens cap on. Works like a charm, only this time, I can't remember how many frames I've shot.
Is there any way to tell how many frames I've used without ruining the roll? It's Cinestill, which isn't cheap, so I'd like to finish the roll if possible.
