the 2nd one looks too processed to me, the 2 men look pasted onto the background

can you "un-blur" the background a bit and show us how it looks like? ...for the second photo mainly.

i really like the first one. second one looks a bit over done.

What kind of blur did you use on the 2nd one? I get a little sick feeling when looking at #2. I also noticed that around the two old men, you can see a little, sort of glow/aura where you masked the layers.

Pretty cool looking photos though. Just wish I could stare at them longer

Yeah, I must admit that I could have spent more time on the PP with this one, but it was a bit fiddly. The halo is from blurring the background, since the colours bleed into the bg. It was a lot worse and I removed most of it, but couldn't get it all! The original:

As you can see, it's very cluttered, so I blurred the bg in an attempt to draw attention to the subjects. Also, there is a pole growing out the top of the artist's head that is not so noticeable when blurred.
