Circles and reflections

I liked the textures, shapes, and reflections of this lamp base. I shot it on a black background to introduce more contrast, and tried to find an asymmetrical but balanced composition. Abstractish, not everyone's cup of tea (maybe?), but it pleases me.

I like it, and I'm not that into abstracts.

I would've maybe gone at it from not quite as steep an angle, but that's about it (but I like the angle more and more as I look at it again).

Well, and so is your abstract here. Just shapes and textures. Love it.
I was about to wonder where my daily tb2-pic-fix would be!?!?

Thanks for the feedback Peacemaker & Corinna. Yes, Corinna, I had the duster out again :mrgreen:. You may have noticed I've been consciously trying to widen the range of subjects I shoot. Today I felt like going back to the type of shot I particularly like!
