    Ah, quite pleasing subject with which you practised your DOF. The first photo looks like a detail of a rocking chair, am I right? Maybe you should have used the wood polisher on that first? (Your mom might have been a) surprised and b) grateful, who knows ;)).

    The second ... a bottle rack? If only the second circle (first to have at least its back part in full focus) weren't cut off at its top.

    OK, it's me being really nitpicky now, but I understand you don't put up your photos for "general praise and eulogies", hm? ;)

    Yes the first is of a chair (though it doesn't rock) and I'm sure my mom would be proud of me for polishing it, however my parents live about 500 miles away... it's my own lack of polishing I posted for all to see :blushing:

    Yes the second is a bottle rack and a sad one too since it's empty ;)
    I hadn't noticed the 2nd circle missing its top, I agree it would be better complete
