    A few years back I was in some photo-lab in Florida and I saw they had an "automatic" slide blower. A small counter top machine with a slot for a mounted slide. Push it in and a fan inside switches on and blows dust and such off the slide. If it works as I remember, this would be an excellent tool for quickly cleaning my slides before popping them into my scanner.

    One problem – my web searching has turned up nothing like what I am looking for. I don’t even know what such devices are “normally” called.

    Anyone out there know:

    * What these nifty devices are called?
    * Who makes them?
    * Where I can buy one?
    * What features to look for / avoid?

    TIA!
