    nice pics. especially the vulture. Those are some wicked birds.

    Sure do, havent been there in a couple of years though. Should go there sometime soon again.

    These were taken in autumn, weren't they? The VERY colourful first one suggests that. That one has some STRIKING colours!
    And I don't mind the brick wall behind the gorilla at all - ok, it does not look like natural surroundings, but then: which zoo is that - i.e. natural surroundings, eh?

    I like the kookabarra because I like kookabarras! They are such funny birds.
    And the raccoon --- cutie.

    Great shots. It looks like a great zoo. I love the posture on the gorilla, as you said and also the raccoon.
