It's from a slide made into a print then scanned.Im' looking at the print right now I shoot lightning for getty Images I'm looking at the print right now!

Ahh ok that makes sense too. I saw some lines that indicated to me anyway that it was a "picture"... (scan) of a print.

I think the print would look great blown up huge to poster size!

As a matter of fact it's a well known story around here, I was talking to a cop while shooting and after that bolt went he said Your a crazy SOB and jumped in is car a left.. fast LOL. I have been shooting lightning for 7 years now! And have had many published.

This one taken at the same location and if I'm not mistaking the same night. All my lightning images are shot with slide film

Heres a tearsheet of that first image. It's on page 157 of a book called "Washington Weather, the weather sourcebook for the DC area" so If I copied it I copied my own image LOL.

how do you shoot lightning? - i once tried and just couldnt get the camera to shoot quick enough - ill have to try again, it looks worth it
