    taken in oldham last week just after it had snowed - thats what the white, cold stuff is!!!!
    i liked this pic cos it seems to look a bit like being in the mountains somewhere!
    i wasnt sure if horizon looked slightly slanted so i straightened it with the 1st - whatcha think, was it any different?

    The light against you helps you get a wonderful texture on the snow. And to me these do look like you were "in the mountains" somewhere. I know too little of what it looks like around you, to me you now "are in the mountains" :D.

    To straighten the photo this little helped, I should say, and given that the very near snow has a purplish cast (shadow) in the colour version, I begin to like the b&w version best. You added a bit of sepia tint to it, didn't you? Makes the entire photo seem "warmer".

    ahaha when i saw this earlier, i didnt read you post and then i thought it was a pic of the mountains
