Cold in Cincinnati

Finally someone that actually understands what it means to get cold. I thought I was alone. Last week it hit -39F just north of where I live in Minnesota. it was -30F at my house. And that is the air temp. Today, it is going to hit -15 or so over night with -50 to -60 wind chills. This... Is an Arctic Blast.

Many, many years ago, I dated a girl from Minnestoa. She was going to school down here at SMU in Dallas. We were madly in love and we were talking marriage, so we flew up there in late December for me to meet her parents. At that time, I had never been out of the south. When we got off the plane, I had never seen snow like that, and the temperature was 3 degrees. :er: Her folks were very nice, as all of the people up there were, and her dad even offered me a job if we got married and moved up there.

That was the problem, I could not see myself ever living in a place like that. :crazy:

Needless to say, I never married that girl.
