I had a great time shooting these guys, they were a lot of fun! The band is named Jammed!, they are a local cover band here in Manchester, my uncle-in-law is the drummer. :) (I know there is a lot of noise, but I had to crank up that ISO to 1000 to get the right exposure and freeze all the motion!)

They are all a bit too dark, you could have lowered your shutter speed to about 1/80 because you were shooting at 1/200-1/250 @ 50mm and all were shot at ISO800. I would probably have been around ISO1600 1/50-1/100 F4

I would never have shot at that high of an ISO. I get noise with 1000, sometimes even 800, it would have looked terrible. I tried lowering the shutter speed but they kept coming out blurry b/c the guys wouldn't stay still.

If you get the exposure right there will be less noise
This was shot with a 1Dmk2(not great for low light) at iso1600, but with my 5Dmk1 i will often shoot at iso3200
