Forgive me father for I have sinned. Friday night while out shooting at the lake with a friend, I shot 30 frames with his new Nikon D610. I must confess that it was a very nice camera, and if he gets some fast glass to go with it, look out. Here are my keepers.

1) The lighthouse

How dare you, Ron. How dare you.

Nice shots! I like the color version of the lighthouse, but the top right looks a little funky. That mini lighthouse is cute!

Thanks Wade. Funky how? In the color? Honestly, I struggled with some of the post with these in color. Some of my go to processing for my Canon just looked crazy on the Nikon images. I was getting the sky too yellow in some of them and had to take one photo down until I can figure it out. (May have to do that with this one too.)

No problem Wade. That is one of the areas that I was having issues with. (It's not your monitor). I'll have to pull this one down and go back to the drawing board with it.

See if you can bring the shade areas up a bit.

minicoop, I'm not going over permanently. (Actually looking at white covered glass as we speak.) I think a 300mm f/4 would be a cure to keep me from switching.
