If you sell a print, should you have it copyrighted?

If so, how do you copyright a print?

As soon as you press the shutter button, you own the copyright to the image.

If you want more protection, you can register the pictures with the us government, something like $30us for as many pictures as you want, or for a single cd or dvd, not sure how that works. Not a bad idea to do this every other month or something with all your new pictures.
