CS vs. CS2

I just upgraded to Photoshop CS2, it looks very similar to CS but I know it must be different. Can anyone tell me what are some of the main difference between CS and CS2? How does the merge to HDR function compare to a program like Photomatix?

I use it for the ability to use camera raw, smart objects, and lens correction filter. There may be more but I forget at the moment. I don't use the merge to HDR so I can't comment on that.

Oh i forgot about bridge, much better than the file browser in CS.

With CS2's HDR you get better looking, more real results, not the ultra-surreal like you can get out of photomatix...

put another way, i haven't figured out how to do the ultra-surreal in ps2 and have not found a way to do realistic photos in photomatix....

and a thought about bridge, I hate it!!! I mean don't get me wrong its a nice browser, but it it a memory HOG!! i can not run photoshop and bridge at the same time, and i have 2GB of memory and an accelerator.
