D500 w/Tamron 150-600mm SP

Nice light combo for hiking. I got some ok photos. I haven't used the Tamron in awhile because it's just a little slow focusing compared to the other lens I have.

Nice images considering it was at 600mm.

I use that lens on my D810 and at 600mm the pictures it produces are really poor image quality.

What F number did you use for these please?

They're fantastic with that lens wide open at max focal length.

There are lots of reports that it needs stopping down to produce acceptable results, but that can't be the case judging by these pics! (y)

Thanks. I've used this lens with the d7100 at the same settings and the photos weren't as good. This combo seems to work very good together
