D70s error and shutter prob.

been a while since i posted here... anyways, got the D70s body about 3 weeks ago, yesterday it started giving me an error message and i took the lense off and looked inside, the mirror was half way up and not fully closed! and if you listen closely it sounds like theres a small piece rolling around inside the camera... im bringing it in to the nikon repair center under warranty on monday.

anything similar happen to anyone with a D70? any ideas?

That sound of something rolling around might be the portrait/landscape sensor. On my D50 there is a faint sound (sounds like a ball bearing or a spring) and I have read that it is normal. I think the D70 has a reset feature if you press some combination of keys, not sure though.
