dimage A1 owners?

Hi,
After looking around for a while i decided on this camera for its features for its price, the only problem was nowwhere around where i live stocks minolta cameras- last week i went away and when i was looking in a few shops i actually saw the camera (for the first time) It looked way to small! i was just wondering what you think of the layout of the camera because it really looked to small for the ocntrols it has on it.

Just another question-
what can you control manually without going into menu's? (aperutre shutter speed??) and it has a zoom ring on the lens right?

I looked at the A2 a couple times and i think the size is perfect, it wont get heavy for long periods of time and i think it would be a great camera. The controls looked fine to me, plus you will get used to whatever you buy.
