Do they get noticed?

Hi all,

I've been told my photographs are gallery-worthy. If I put a piece in a gallery for sale, will it be noticed by many art enthusiasts?

Try it. My personal opinion is it's a loser if you have to pay to place it as you;re competing with famous names.

Depends on the gallery. Generally speaking it is great exposure for your work. It is a tough racket, but if your images are amazingly great you will have no problem. Let's see some.

I've been told my photographs are gallery-worthy.

My guess is that unless you are a stupendous native talent and the gallery has a huge client base, the answer is no.
There are colossal numbers of good to great photographers around, available on the web, and the number who are making anything doing art photography is small, relatively.

Work at photography because you love it and if/when you get good enough at it, you won't need to ask this question.
