    I found this homeless man sleeping on a park bench on the national mall in Washington, D.C.

    That is a shot that really makes you stop and look! It doesnt take you long to realise how lucky we all really are!

    I hope you slipped him something for the privelidge

    Makes all my problems seem insignificant!

    Lee, I can't help but feel "Ewww" at first sight, too, less triggered by the soles but more by the length of the toenails, but ...

    ... this is ONE good photo depicting the desolate situation of the homeless people around us without intruding into his privacy. Very well done, very touching ... and the feeling of "Ewww" is just one of the emotions this photo evokes in us as viewers.
