i know it isn't hard to take off, but its beter than nothing?

If people taking your pictures is a plausible concern for you, then I suppose it is better than nothing, but then again if someone really wanted to steal your pictures, your sig could be easily taken out, and it is really more of an annoyance for everyone else looking at the photos. It's a difficult problem, because even with the watermark, a skilled photochopper can still get rid of it, but at least it makes it a bit more difficult.
