to me... i can't see if you are trying to do a silouette or not.. the detail on the face is all gone... yet you can make out some of the light on the right side. just my opinion.
 
It's not so much that's it's too bright to me, but it seems kinda washed out. Like seeing through some white mesh filter or something. I think this might be fixed by setting a black point using the curves function in photoshop.

Bobman, It's interresting to watch you develop. This one isn't your best, but I'm impressed with your experimental nature.

Amen to that. I'm glad someone realizes it. I think it has a lot to do with creativity and concepts too.

Bobman, it lacks colour... Too much bright white.
 
Bobman, notice how this specific pose enhances the shape of her nose.

This is an angle I try to use as much as possible when I'm shooting my wife a/c she has a prominent nose and the wrong pose or the wrong angle is devistating not to mention unflattering.
