Specifically your releases, agreements, etc. I was in the process of typing up a one-off release for a particular job, and decided to copy & paste some text from another release ('cause let's face it: I'm lazy!) and in the process realized that for probably eight months I'd been using a release for my Veteran's Portrait Project which didn't reflect how I was doing business; specifically it promised participants a digital copy of their portrait when in fact I provide them a physical print. It's a small thing (in this case), but it caused me to review all of my other standing releases/agreements and make a number of minor, but necessary amendments.

It's easy just to keep using the same form month after month, and even if we think nothing has changed, take the five minutes, and go over them once a year or so (at least).

Amen.

Before I retired the first working day in July was always check form day, since changes in the law took effect on July 1.
