Just returned from a concert with Roger Waters. They performed the entire Dark Side Of The Moon, it was ooooh so awesome!...

The flying pink piggie was present and it went up and up and up, almost like wanting to reach the moon. It was fantastic!

Roger's voice was tired but still up there...

I do not doubt that was amazing!!!!! Did he say anything about losing Syd Barret this year?

Yeah, he had a little blurb but didn't mention him by name, rather saying he lost a friend.

The 1st half of the concert was pretty political, 2nd was all DSOTM.

No. But they did The Wall and Comfortably Numb after DSOTM.

And yes, the pig was flying during the 1st half, then they cut its strings and it went straight up. Pretty awesome.

Mmmmm I wish I could've gone to the one in TO. But alas, out of town + presumably expensive tickets = boo.

Comedic tidbit - Reading this thread inspired me to play 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond'. Was playing it pretty loudly, and one fo my roommates stopped by my room and said "damn, that's some sick porno beats." So yeah, now I've thought of Waters in a way I never thought I could. Dammit.
