Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
So I got contacted about shooting for the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of commerce this thursday and I told them ok $600 for a full day regular stuff. I mean that's cheap to start out right? So then they say they want completely exclusive rights to use the images and I said well it doesn't really work that way, they are my images and I get to use them. They wouldn't budge on the issue so I said fine how about $1000 instead and you can have the rights and they said it was too steep. I mean am I wrong here or are they frickin high?

$1,000 for a full day's shooting AND full rights to the photos is BS. Too many businesses are trying to get photographers to work for free, continuously devaluing our trade. Stand your ground.

Ha ha maybe I suck at negotiating, I'm not a salesman, I'm a photographer ha ha. I'm slammed as it is, she can fly someone else up from Vegas. Ground stood ha ha

Thanks KmH, this will be useful for the future
