It can be confusing but it can also be beautifully simple once all the pieces 'click' and you can wrap your head around it. Then you can concentrate on things like who and what you are shooting

I was experimenting with it last night shooting Downtown Charlotte, but not sure if I eally had any effect or anyting

That must be some flash...to light up all of downtown Charlotte.

Oh haven't you seen it? It's the new SB-6000 III Flash with Microdrive Processors to accurately be able to expose UP TO 5 square miles of anything. Don't try it at wedding photography! Yet to be released to the public. You'll find out about it in due time
