I am looking into buying 2 external battery packs for wedding photography. The original Canon ones are expensive. The aftermarket ones are considerably less expensive. Should I spend more on the expensive Canon one or it is fine to get the cheaper aftermarket ones?
    Thanks for the advice!

Are you referring for the Camera or Flash?. As for what I heard the aftermarkets don't last as well as the Original Canon's. I use only Canon originals on the Camera.

For flash, the Quantum & Quantum Turbo battery packs are fairly common and work well. I don't know if they are much cheaper (if at all) than the Canon packs.
