Fear vs Food juvenile Racoon (pic heavy)

This little guy was scared. He ducked in and out of the grass. For about 45 minutes before ha fully came out to get his fish. Hunger wins over fear.

Brian, nice series. I am curious as to how the fish came to be "dead". Did this one kill it? Did the mother kill it? -or- was it dead an just lying there for the taking.

These were taken at Blackwater wildlife refuge. Not 100% bug I think low tide stranded them in a shallow pull. There were probably 6 fish there for the taking.
