Can others edit my Photos

Appreciate any feedback on these recent shots I took in Kauai, HI. Composition? Technique? For most of these, I increased the contrast and saturation a bit, and dropped the brightness a bit using Gimp. Do they look overly-processed? I'm shooting these w/ a Nikon D3300.

18-55 kit lens w/ circular polarizer - Can't put my finger on it entirely, but I think it's kind of cool. I liked the contrasting colors and textures, and the story that the weathered cement tells.

The first 2 need straightening. I like the last one.
 
Yikes! How did I miss that much crookedness on the first one? I guess you have to train yourself to look @ systematically/objectively. Thnaks
 
The last picture is pretty cool.
