My filter I purchased online from adorama just arrived. I just realized that it wasn't uv though. It was in the same section that said uv so I just assumed and it has a slight pink tone to the filter. I was only going to get it to protect my 70-200.

Is it going to effect my image enough that I should send it back, covering the shipping, to get a different one that is completely clear?

    Enlighten me please

It's probably a warming filter. It can be useful for shooting people but if I were in your shoes, I'd probably send it back and get the clear one.
