Finally found a cottonmouth!

I've been trying to get a decent shot of a cottonmouth for a few years now. I finally found this guy about 4' off a board walk at a local park.

I seek them out because they're pretty amazing and because they're hard to find. Keep in mind that most snake bites occur on men between the ages of 16 and 25, above the waist. Why? Because they pick them up. There's very little danger from most venomous snakes. Stay on the trails, be alert, don't mess with them, and in most cases you'll be perfectly safe.

Nice I love cottonmouthes they are everywhere here in Florida
