    How did you get it to look so porous?

    I bumped up the sharpening a bit. It doesnt look so porous in the bigger version so I think some quality is lost when I resized it.

    I don't mean to be critical, but it looks to me like it would have passed without the sharpening. Was it really necessary?

    I appreciate the critic :) The sharpened image looks non porous on my crt monitor but then on my lcd widescreen it looks really porous. So I checked it with my laptop and its looks different yet again lol so I uploaded the original and hopefully that looks no porous let me know. thanks

    Looks fine to me. Just wondering, did you try it in B/W?

    It looks a lot better.

    BTW, that CRT vs LCD comparison is nice to hear. Maybe that's been my problem. I'll have to hook up my old CRT and check that out.
