First snow with the 50D

I was able to get out on our first snow today! I was so excited. Managed to score these. Wish I could have gotten more but there isn't much to shoot in my area.

Like pug said #2 is nice, I think you nailed it, I also really like #3, the composition, the way you captured the sun light, but could use some sharpening and a little more "pop" on the evergreen. BTW, on the third image, where was your camera set at ? ISO and aperture, thanks.

Exif on #2 was ISO-640, f/13, and 1/400 shutter speed.
Exif on #3 was ISO-640, f/16, and 1/320 shutter speed.

It was my first time really venturing out of a large aperture. Usually I use a really wide one like 2.8 or 4 so 16 was a big jump for me and I love the results. I was surprised I got the exposure right on 2 cause I hear it's hard to get it right with snow. I took a couple other shots as well today using my grad ND 4 filter and it makes a noticeable difference. Thanks for the comments!
