I have a TomTom Spark Cardio + Music. There have been a lot of debates about how accurate that measure heartbeats and counting calories. Do you have a fitness watch? Do you trust yours?

I have used Garmin forerunners for a number of years and love them. There were a few dumb models, but they have them dialed in these days! No pun intended.

I have used fitbits too, and they were good for step counting - and Nike was OK but a bit basic.

Unless you have a heartrate monitor correctly worn around your chest - nothing will be totally accurate.

I have the Fitbit Blaze.

I have a watch with fitness apps. Apple watch. Just went to the Dr. the other day for the yearly physical. We was curious about the heart rate so we measured together. The watch was 1 beat off of his count. As for the rest, I trust it as a guide not a God.

After looking at my apple watch he is going to get one.

I have the Fitbit Charge. Have you noticed how many steps it awards you for driving your car?

I had a Garmin with the chest strap ... I gave it up when I was gifted an Apple Watch. I'm an old fart, but back when I was seriously working out, especially cycling, I would have kept the Garmin/chest strap. But now, the Apple Watch is good enough to help guide me to be reasonably healthy.

I had one, it overheated.

You must have worked out too much for it.

I've been using chest HR straps since 1997ish, and currently use a bluetooth HR strap with my iPhone & Strava for when I go cycling, running, etc.

I go to a local gym too that has those things you put your hands on for HR when you are on a cycle, elliptical, treadmill, etc. I've found those gym things are fairly accurate to the chest straps.

What's a gym?

What's a gym?
Gym ... a place where you work out, which is when you are outside walking around and have to constantly have to lift up a 150-600 lens, over and over again.

That has to be the worse selfie I've even seen.
You should hire a professional photog to follow you around and take pics for you.
Either that, or get a selfie stick .. a really long one about 10 feet long as the saying goes. :)

I'll make sure to use off-camera flash too. Because on-camera is below me.
