Friendly Longhorns

I ran into a pair of very sociable longhorn cows this evening. A third was coming up just as I was leaving, but by then, the sun was not quite as beautiful.

All three are just lovely. The setting sun is adding to these friendly cows' beauty, of course. So does the crispenss of your photos! And their expressions (and though "cow No. 2" might be saying "give us a kiss" her nose is too wet for me to be wanting to kiss her... ugh!)

Now where is ALMO! He - the declared cow-lover - must not miss these photos!

This will sound mean, but... it's too bad that fence wasn't electric, I'd love to see the expression on the cow's face right when it felt the ZAP! And he's kinda dirty, maybe you could give 'em a bath??

Great shots... Sometimes I wish I lived somewhere more country so I could shoot animals without a drive... Then I remember that if i need cigarettes in the middle of the night I'll be happy I live in the city
