Good macro lens for less than $600?

A bit over the prescribed budget but I recently got the Sigma 135 Art; it plays quite well with ext tubes, at least on first inspection. I've been using a tripod, the zoom-in feature on the D800, and a remote release. So far I'm pleased with it..
