I got an incident light meter for christmas. I have such a better understanding of lighting than I did 3 days ago.

My parents wanted me to shoot my sisters senior portraits. This is from session #1 at the park. Quite a popular park for photographers.

This time I DID have an assitant. I really like how these turned out.

Another way to take an incident reading is to use an 18% gray card. It was a real eye opener to see how off the TTL meter is. I had a gray card but it was a little inconvienant to carry around.

Wow, these are gorgeous, Voo!!! I'm still using a gray card (sniff) and also experimenting with the zone system, while I continue to save for a meter.

Gosh, the lighting on #2 is just so lovely. You can be proud of these. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!! Congrats on the new meter, too!
