Grandfather in Vineyard

I did some ps work on this photo.. I liked the effect.. thought id share
any thoughts are welcomed!

Very nice shot, and I agree with Matt, there should be lots of great picture taking there with your Grandfather.

I cant wiat for the summer when the vines are nice and ripe.. I only get to go down there so often.. and this summer should hold some great photographic opportunities!!!

as far as his face.. i couldnt get him to look at me.. he was busy and when hes out there in the vineyard hes in a whole nother world..

that particular row happens to be the syrah! yummy

If he is busy when he is working on his vines, then it is just that and you captured the moment! You captured his being in another world - and that I like!

Remember the vines themselves are twisty, gnarly, rough things that have beautiful texture. I think they have great photographic appeal when they are completely bare! So any season is a good time to explore them.

I think you're very lucky to have this unlimited access (not to mention a wonderful model) so take advantage! Have fun.
