Hi fellow photographers!
Nice to find a forum geared toward another one of my addictions
I'm a self proclaimed "professional novice"... I work with basic gear - Nikon D-80 (I wear it well...) and a few assorted lenses/filters. Been shooting on a more regular basis now for about 5 years and always look for freelance work in my area. I'm on Long Island here in New York... shout out to any locals out there.
I hope to learn from you all as I continue to shoot more. I love landscape photography and experimenting with HDR. I also enjoy portraits and again experimenting with lighting as well as the usual post-production tools available (nothing high-tech or advanced).
I also run a guitar forum and love music. My real job is in the corporate world and as I'm not getting any younger, I find myself more drawn to focusing (no pun intended) on what I really enjoy - taking photos.
Nice to meet you and hope to catch a few tips here and there along the way.
Cheers!
~ Dave
