I've noticed that when I use the on-camera flash on my GX7, the JPGs come out with a weird look to them. Everything in the picture looks like it was made out of wax, or plastic. I've owned lots of cameras: film and digital, big and small, and I've never seen this before. I realize this isn't the mode I would use to get the best results. It's strictly for snapshots, family pix and so on. Still, I would like to be happy with the results. Has anybody else noticed this? If not, I'll post some examples to show what I mean. If you have, what have you done about it? Should I shoot RAW (and upgrade Lightroom - grumble, grumble); use only off-camera flash (and carry it everywhere - more grumbling); or use some sort of flash modifier?
