HDR with D40

hi! i'm interested in HDR shot but the problem is my nikon d40 didn't have the bracketing feature..so i have to change the exposure manually between shots..i'm using a tripod but its hard to get shots with same alignment..any advice?

Not sure what you mean by "same alignment". Are you shooting plants and trees while it's windy or is the tripod moving around while change the aperture setting on your D40?

very fast shutter speeds will help with the wind, however , that still may be an issue with alignment.

Don't change the fstop as that will also change the DOF, change the shutter speed, which may effect the first issue.

You need to decide
