Hello from Chicago (NW burbs)

My gf and I just bought a D40 and we are JUST getting into the world of DSLRs/photography. We have been taking A LOT of pictures and enjoying the new discoveries we find every time we shoot. Most of the pictures have been of wild life and other various outdoor shots.

We are located in Lake Zurich, IL which is 40 miles north of Chicago. I'm originally from the St. Louis area so we get around IL quite a bit. I'm glad I found this forum!
