Hello from Fort Ogelthorpe, GA

I am fairly new to the world of photography as art. Its something I've always been interested in but never learned how to do. I'm currently enrolled in a black and white film class at a local college. There's something beautiful in learning this from the ground up and using old school technology. I love being able to say that I not only took the photo, but I also developed it and I printed it. Although I am still learning the process what I am doing I really like so far.

I am almost 50 years old and am learning this as an art form after admiring it for so long.

I have a Canon AE-1 program 35mm and I have a Canon power shot digital camera (sometimes I bring the digital along with me because I want that picture in color)

Even though I've been playing with a camera of one kind or another since I was a kid, I took three photography courses (two film, one digital) at the University of MD when I was 51. I graduated at 52.
