    her T-zone and upper cheeks now look overexposed but for a first attempt, it aint bad.

    bring back the top of her head and her chin :)

    Bahaha. Yea, I only knew this because I have a sister.

    I'd try moving the camera further away from the subject, and arrange the subject closer to the background.

    The thing I like about ring lights the most is the soft shadow on all edges. The wall will present this.

    Post a pic of the home made ring light while you are at it!
