Milk Weed?

Yes. It was in a nature preserve that I visited on the weekend, and pretty much all the milkweed pods were empty and shriveled. But this seedling.. looked like it wrapped half of its tendrils around the pod. Perhaps even plants have separation anxiety?

Aww, now I'm going to feel sad for plants! I already have a tendency to anthropomorphize everything and then feel happy or sad for it. This doesn't help
