i just want something i can hang on my wall

hey, what do you think would be more tacky and annoying to my wife after all this?

a. me buying someone elses photos to hang on the wall

b. me hanging a blemished photo of myself on the wall.

Rather than decide 'up front' what you want to put on your walls, or have the Mrs decide for you, how about taking your favorite 30-40 photos and using them as a screen-blanker on your computer. I do just that with my computer at work and it helps me to distinguish between 'pretty good', 'good enough', and 'good enough to hang on the wall'...although I haven't printed any for wall hangings.

Having a 24" monitor at work helps, too. I just ordered the same monitor for home!

My solution. I pick 12 photos and make my own home made calendar. Lets me change every month and a good project for the following year. I like to look back at the monthly photos and remember the day or outing. I enjoy nature photography so this works well for me.
