I know, I know... another noobie.

Hi. I'm from the Pacific Northwest. I've always been interested in photography, but never really got started. When I was a kid, my dad used to use a Mamiya Sekor, (I think that's how it was spelled) for landscapes. He had a great love for photography, but was never really that good. He was a truck driver, so he always had something to shoot.

Well, I was just talking to my wife and realized that we don't have any pics of our first 7 years of marriage. So I decided to go and buy a cheap, easy to use camera to get us started. I went with the Nikon N55 'cause the lady at the store told me to. Now I'm hoping it's not a crappy camera, and I can learn to use it. I'll upgrade in the future if I can justify it, but for now I'm just learning off everyone here.
