I Live In A Zoo!

Almost Literally!
I live in a wooded area, and I am not short of some fantastic wildlife, right at my backdoor!

This (edit: juvenile Red Shouldered Hawk) was 12' from the lens. Almost no crop...cropped for aesthetics only. It was absolutely amazing to witness a bird this close! If I were any closer, I'd be doing falconry.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was a Cooper's Hawk. We do have some Red-Tail and Red Shouldered, and I know the juveniles can look different than adults. It was just a guess on the ID.

Oh ok it does look alot like juvenile red shouldered hawk but i am not 100 percent sure
