Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I shoot sporting events like marathons where I generally need my D200 or D100 mounted vertically on my monopod for thousands of shots. This is easy when I'm using my longer lens with a collar but a pain with my shorter collarless lenses. I don't like to use my ball head as the vertical orientation flops the camera off center from the monopod.

I am experimenting with having a simple steel L bracket made locally. It seems to be working but I'm looking for others that might want to try it out and give me feedback.

This will not take the place of the expensive units for use with Kirk etc. It is just a simple inexpensive bracket. Let me know if you are interested and we'll talk.

You can see an image of my working prototype at: www.stevegandy.com/photography -- click bracket.

Kind of looks like a stroboframe. Remember they started out with cheap parts and look at them now so Good Luck if you plan on trying to market this.
